Just an observation.
If the sugars worth your fingers and toes when your a diabetic thats your choice.
If the daily fast food runs are worth the heart attack when you already have heart disease that’s your choice.
If the processed foods worth the addiction when you already have multiple health conditions from obesity thats your choice.
I cant judge because I use to make the same choices too. At one point in my life I thought I’d rather die then give up my favorite foods and I came pretty close reaching 420lbs and losing part of my mobility before I changed my mind.
But I also know its a choice to continue to make the same choices over and over and over. Because even at 420lbs and neck deep in food addiction I changed mine.
The American population is one of the sickest in the world.
We spend nearly twice as much on health care as the average OECD country ( US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom) yet have the lowest life expectancy and highest suicide rates among the 11 nations.
US has the highest chronic disease burden and an obesity rate thats two times higher then the OECD.
And the US has the highest number if hospitalizations from preventable causes and the highest rate of avoidable deaths.
My heart hurts to much from watching my friends suffer from unpreventable diseases like breast cancer and seizures. If your in pain due to your choices its up to you to change them. No one else can do it for you…you can watch other people do a million burpees or meal plan a 1000 meals but it won’t do any benefit except to those who are doing the work.
If you dont have the mindset to want to change your choices no amount of coaching accountability buddies exercise videos meal prep classes is going to change that. Every journey has to start with you.
Dont put the cart before the horse on this one…if your not mentally ready to change you’ll only be spinning your wheels with a diet or exercise program. Start with your mindset and set that foundation first.
Life isn’t a job. No ones going to make you show up for yourself.
