This ones for you!

Girl this post is for you…
This post is for the ones starting out starting over just beginning or still struggling.

This post is for the food addict the super morbid obese. This post is for the woman reading those tabloid headlines seeing my page for the first time.

You see a company shaming the obese saying this girl ate herself into an oblivion. You see those headlines saying yeah she lost the weight but shes got extra skin. You see them quoting my positivity but your reading the negative they associated with my beginning. You see fat shaming Yet youre still choosing to hope that overcoming food addiction is possible. This is who this post is for.

You are worthy. You are loved. You are worth a lifestyle change. Being overweight doesnt make you less human. Being overweight doesnt make you a freak. Being overweight doesnt make you any less of a person with less feeling and emotion. Trainers dont want to work with you. Drs dont want to talk to you. Insurance companies dont want to insure you. Some days it feels like no one wants to help you.

But guess what I do. I know it’s tough. I know the statistics on beating obesity. I know. I know. But heres the thing. I know your worth the effort. I know your a person just like everyone else. I know what people say about you because they said it to me.

Heres a secret losing weight wont change your life but if you change your life to a more positive self loving grateful and self serving life then the weightloss will be an amazing side effect.

A tabloid wanted to buy my story. Run some more headlines pointing out my past struggles with food addiction. Run a freak show sort of article on me. 420lbs that’s a lot. I get it but even at 420lbs I didnt deserve people pointing out and gawking at my addiction. I deserved compassion. To be treated equal.

So heres to the old me. To all the people still struggling and fighting. I’m not selling you out to make a quick buck for people to gawk and talk about. You deserve the respect that someone who has battled an addiction deserves you deserve the same respect that I deserve after losing the 240lbs.
